Made clean because of grace.

10/30/21 I was washing my back patio with a pressure washer and was surprised about how dirty the patio actually was before I washed it clean. Before this… I actually could’ve looked at the patio and thought that it was clean. This applies to our lives as humans too. More often than not we don’t realize just how broken, hurting, or sinful we are until we encounter a God who extends life-changing grace + grows us towards a place of wholeness and health. Grace. Ahhh. Sweet, sweet undeserved grace. Just like the patio isn’t gonna clean itself, we aren’t able to make ourselves spiritually clean. Only Jesus can. He died for your sin and brokenness just so that he could put you back together again. Looking back on all that God has already done in my life, there truly is no explanation besides that He’s a good good father. I never would have been able to clearly see how dysfunctional and hopeless I was without Him in my life. He is the one who gives us a will to live.

He gives purpose.

He gives hope.

He gives peace, patience, and kindness. He is a rescuer and redeemer. He is the healer + a compassionate Father.

He makes you clean.
